The Family Center received 84 coats from our December coat drive!
Blessing Bags- Are packed with nutritious snacks, proteins, hydration and hygiene products. These bags are carried in the congregation's vehicles to pass out to the homeless on the street.
This is CCC children's global missions project. Coins were collected on every 1st Sunday for four months prior to Christmas. This mission is a part of World Vision to provide farm animals to families in need globally. Ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats, pigs and a cow may be purchased with the funds they collected.
CCC's red shopping cart is filled with food items every week for Harvest Share. Harvest Share provides food for those in need in our community.
Recovery Bibles are donated to the Maury County Jail. Funds may be donated directly to CCC or NLT Life Recovery Bibles 2nd Edition may be donated to CCC for distribution. This is an ongoing mission.
CCC has partnered with Holcomb Ministries to assemble and deliver care packages to the NICU families at Maury Regional Medical Center. This is an annual event in October.
An 11 member team from CCC provided missions for the Reelfoot Lake Community, by building and remodeling; painting; organizing food; roofing and community outreach. A Global Methodist Missions trip is in the planning stage for June 2025.
During Cornerstone Day 2024, our Congregation of all ages, participated in card missions; nursing home visitation and birdfeeder filling; painting of Harvest Share entrance room and food organization; CCC Gym outdoor maintenance and indoor light installation. Cornerstone Day coming in September 2025.
CCC's Shoe Drive is a yearly event in July. CCC shoe drive provided 82 pairs of new shoes for the children of Highland Park Elementary School this July.
Our community members in need of food have food resources M-F through several food pantries in the area. Many people are without food on the weekends. CCC Weekend Bags are packed full of nutritious foods and hygiene items quarterly. 60 large bags are packed and distributed to Crossroads to Home Food Pantry. Crossroads will hand out Weekend Bags to those in need.
